Rome

It was so beautiful as you can imagine. It was as I expected. The pictures you see in books don't compare to the real thing. Being inside the churches and seeing the pope in person was such an emotional experience. The first week was amazing. Sometimes there were just no words to describe the feelings I had everytime I thought about it.
This trip was for school credit so I had to keep a journal of all my experiences and of course its relevance to our theme of the layers of Rome. Applying all that I had read previous to the trip made the old ruins and museums come to life. I could actually imagine all the power and energy that went into the buildings and overall development of the city. There was so much drama involved within the people between religion and state laws.
I took so many pictures, which I did so that I could think back to so many memories of all the feelings I had at almost every moment.
Once I get my career going, I definitely plan on going back.
Thanks to Adrian I was able to take video clips as well as pictures.

How exciting! I was thinking about you and when you might post some pictures. Why don't you POST and write a bit about your trip on my blog so more people can see? There is nothing like travel to bring the world to life. It realy is a small world once we start to see and reach beyond our safe haven. I am proud of you and your decision to travel on an educational adventure.
